Big Prints around Us

It's been about 15 years since the beginning of the wide format revolution. For years, billboards held sway as our most frequently seen large graphics. Now, many other large graphics beg for our attention each day. Most of these images and messages are aimed at motivating us to spend on goods and services. As a big print producer, many are the images I'm called on to print for the advertising market.

I've printed thousands of other's designs, and designed hundreds of posters, banners and displays myself. I've always been told that the best way to learn is from mistakes, so I'm starting this blog to show some of the big bad graphics I see each week in the hope of generating a discussion of what has gone wrong, what has worked, and what can be improved. Please join in with your constructive criticism, and examples of big bad graphics you encounter. And of course, if you have a big GOOD graphic, please share it with us.
